Just looking for one bolt I could put up on the wall to practice clipping on rainy days.

Just a bolt, or do you need a hanger too?

Clipping the bolt is easy, clipping the rope to the quickdraw is what you want to practice. Hang a draw from whatever you can sling and practice clipping in both directions with both left and right hands.

so why not just go buy a hanger and screw it to the wall?

I used to just use slings and pretend they were bolts or gear placements and then clip draws and carabiners to those.  You would be surprised how many variations of awkward anchors you can build and practice equalizing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
