Looking to go to Mallorca for a few weeks starting this week.  Any beta on camping etc is appreciated and where some good safe moderate routes are to be hiding !  Cheers!  Anyone there now?

If you haven't already gotten it, the Rockfax guide is really nice. Detailed colored photos of like 15 of the most popular crags and it covers probably more than 100 routes. If you stay in Palma at all, you can check out Porto pi. Other than that I think a lot of the major areas are along the east coast

Thanks.  !!   Very curious of the Camper van camping situation too!

We weren't in a camper van but we noticed a fair number of them in the southeastern portion of the island....don't know where they were spending the night though.

Not a documented DWS area but we stayed a night in Cala Pi (sleepy little resort town) and there were a few people having a van bivy in a parking area by the medieval watchtower along the coast (Torre de Cala Pi) that looked like a nice spot. There is some fun traversing you can do over the water if you swim out from the beach in Cala Pi but again it isn't a documented area or anything. YMMV.

I 2nd that the Rockfax guide is nice. The app has offline GPS maps that were pretty handy since we didn't have cell data while there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
