Hi Friends,

I am in Eagle and wish to go climbing - my friend and I have all gear necessary for sport climbing.  Can anyone recommend some good local crags?  If anyone is in the area and wants to join, let me know!

What grade are you looking for?

If you're in Eagle, Lime Creek is close by, as are most of the crags down in Glenwood Canyon (Puoux, Super Puoux, No Name, the Neighborhood, etc). The most recent copy of Western Sloper (released last year) covers all of those crags.

There's also a decent amount of sport climbing in Wolcott (mostly 5.8 to 5.10), but the guide is out of print. There's a paucity of info on MP, but I know Alpine Quest Sports in Edwards has an old copy of the guidebook for reference

Thanks!  I can't remember which crag I went to - but it was amazing!

I will be back and will look for the crags you mentioned.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
