Saving $$ on Beer

I've been on the road mostly climbing & skiing for about 8 months, and I've run into this a lot at the grocery store or liquor store... what's the best alcohol per dollar?

How do I know what is the best deal on booze? A 6-pack of 6% beer for $11? Or, a pint of 4.75% beer for $2 (PBR at Von's in Bishop)?

I got tired of trying to do the math on my phone's calculator. So I built this little tool and thought other climbers might want to use it too.

I put it up at www.BoozeMath.com ... totally free to use, and helps compare two options to see what's the best alcohol/$.

Hint: the $3 Von's wine in Bishop (and elsewhere in California) is pretty much your best bet.

Hope you enjoy! Leave any feedback or suggestions and I can add them in.

I'd just put it on my credit card and not worry about the cost. If I drank. :)

Don't drink. Easy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
