My university's indoor-recreation climbing wall is looking into having an online accessible page for the local gym climbers to post and rate personally-created routes and problems for anyone to see climb. Mountainproject seems like it has all the tools to accomplish this, however I'm not sure if this is a valid use of the website. Can anyone help me answer that question?

If it is viable, advice to make it happen would be appreciated.

While there are some jokes, "buildering" and other odd stuff in the database, MP is not the place to document individual routes in a gym.

There's actually an app and website for gym climbs. It's called My Climb

Thanks John, I checked it out but it doesn't have the fundamental necessity of sharing images of routes.

I don't know the viability of it but it'd be neat if the app allowed this sort of thing specifically and somewhat separately from the normal areas and routes.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
