My wife and I just relocated to Cortez from the front range. I grew up in Montrose, and I am familiar with many of the local crags. 

It will probably be about 3 weeks before I will have time meet up and climb due to new job/moving/life obligations (still finishing some remodeling before selling our old house in Aurora). 

In any case, when the time comes, I will be very motivated to get out. There is plenty of good climbing if you are willing to drive up to an hour south. I have lots of gear, lots of experience, and know how to keep my party safe.
