Leavenworth, despite the stout approaches, is mostly not alpine climbing (unless you get into the Enchantments, may be a long haul without an overnight permit). If you aren't totally committed to Leavie, check out Washington Pass. If you just want awesome hard multipitch trad (minus the alpine factor), Index is well worth your time. I'd join but I'll be in Mazama hitting Prime Rib of Goat!
