Beta on Silver Lake obscure alpinish route beginning with piton?

I was roughly in the gully of the Gimmelwald sector (https://www.mountainproject.com/v/112290187?search=1&type=area&method=resultsPage&query=gimmelwald) and started a route through a crack with a piton (see pic) inscribed with "made in Italy".  (GPS 37.772, -119.128) I passed lichen and moss encrusted rock up and traversed right ~80 feet on a platform through a tree.  A hornet's nest was maybe ~40 feet right of that.  I finished up higher a ways through ledgy and blocky terrain with sparse pro.

Just thought I'd see if anybody is familiar with this mystery route.

Don't know anything about that piton or its route. But I expect I'll be out on that Silver Lake rock within a couple weeks. Be glad to check what's around that piton and also explore other potential routes.
