Damn that's a shallow placement. Good thing the rock is bomber there

Newbie to trad and was given a few lessons by an older fellow the other day that had 6 pink tricams on his rack that ranged from brand new to ancient. When I asked him about it he told me that "I needed to learn the ways the pink tri-cam before I could understand the reason he carried 6 of them."

I am now begining to understand and have odered a set from camp usa.

Not at all really...it was slotted in an inward-flaring pocket and could hold a coupla tons...I'll try to take a better picture next time.

Looks a little shallow. I can't quite place it right now, but I know i know this section of rock. Moore's is weird like that.

Definitely shallow but surprisingly stable and pretty bomber. A lot of the gear on this pitch is small and shallow.

Did you whip? You don't really know until you whip.

Moore's is where I fell in love with my pink.
