Nolin River Dam Beta

Planning a trip to Mammoth cave with the family and was wondering if anyone has been to either Dismal or Turkey foot?  Was it worth the trip (I'll be with 3 kids)?  It seems like there aren't many easy moderates to keep the kids occupied.  My kids are young and struggle bus and whine on pretty much anything harder than 5.7.  

It's fine if we don't get to any climbing but if its a cool area with some swimming/exploring potential for the kids added in there, it might be something for the family to do as well as give us (me) a chance to get on some rock.
