I've got a rock prodigy hangboard mounted on a pull up bar via 2x10. Used 3 days a week for roughly 3 months. Still very clean. Open to piecing it out. I'd recommend getting your own piece of wood to mount since the 2x10 is heavy.

115 shipped for the whole thing (hangboard and bar are still pretty heavy) or I can piece it out.

How do you fix the wood to the bar? That's what I imagine but never tried.

I was hoping to try this method:

Would also be curious to hear what you did and how it worked for you.

There are pipe flanges and half inch pipe that fit into the hangboard. They are just out of site in the first picture. I drilled holes in the pullup bar and pipes and put a bolt through them to secure it. Then I screwed the wood board to the pipe flange.

Edit: Exactly as described in that video. Works like a charm
