Anyone want to climb Longs Peak keyhole route end of August with me??

Kimmy, lets consolidate all your other threads on Longs and hostels in Estes into this one:

You might be better off posting on 14ers.com for partners too, as that crowd is more geared toward hiking, as opposed to climbing like MP.com.

If you are in decent shape you should be fine hiking the Keyhole route alone, as there will be hundreds of other people on the route. The route is extremely well-documented online and in print. If you want to climb it with a guide there are a few services that offer that.

The climber's hostel that Colorado Mountain School offers is the cheapest place in town, but be aware its dorm-style. There are motel-type rooms in town for $125+. (https://coloradomountainschool.com/about-colorado-mountain-school/lodging/

Take warm clothes and watch for lighting, and make sure to get to the trailhead before 4:00 am for a decent parking spot! Have fun.
