Winter Jobs in Bishop/Eastern Sierra?

Howdy folks,

I would love to move to Bishop this winter for obvious reasons. Haven't spent much time there because I live in Western Colorado now. Are there many jobs available?

I have been a Wilderness Ranger/Trail Crew for 4 seasons but that stuff is just summer seasonal, was thinking Friends of the Inyo might be an option. I searched the forums and found the link to this site http://www.inyocounty.us/jobs/ which is an ok option.

If anyone has any experience or insights it would be greatly appreciated!

If there were alot of jobs available in Bishop- every climber in North America would move there. Good luck.

Don't have much experience there, but most winter work in those parts is going to be centered around Mammoth Mtn Ski area and associated services.

Bishop can be very quiet in winter and dose dirtbag boulderers don't spend much coin...basically Eastside Sports or cafe/breakfast places.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
