Chasing Shade at Jack's Canyon During the Summer?

I'm looking to take the lady on a camping/climbing trip next weekend, and I am eyeing Jack's Canyon as a possible destination, since it's a well-bolted area with a good number of moderate sport climbs. However, it looks like it might be a little hot during the second week of july up there. But it looks like it might be possible to jump around the various walls and chase shade throughout the day and have an altogether pleasant experience. Can anyone advise?

It won't be ideal as it has been pretty hot in AZ for the last couple of weeks but it is totally doable if you can tolerate warmer temps. I spent many a July/August day climbing there and always enjoyed it. You are looking at high 80s and maybe getting into the low 90's. Shade will be necessary.Bring lots of H2O and sun screen. Also, bring plenty of bug repellent as the mosquitoes may be getting bad by now (especially in the early evening when to temps are better) Here is the shade beta: All day shade: Swiss Wall. Morning shade: Main Wall, High Life Wall, Cracker Jack (left end of CJ starts getting sun mid-morning and the farther right you go the later it stays shaded). Afternoon shade: Casino Cliff. Monsoon showers are common in the late afternoon. They usually don't produce a lot of precipitation and blow over quickly. They often bring much needed cloud cover and a breeze. You can seek shelter from rain under the large roofs of the Main Wall. A few climbs even stay dry while rain is falling and, in most cases, everything dries up quickly. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

I chased the shade out there last week and was pretty comfortable.  The above post is pretty accurate start at cracker jack or main wall then head to swiss wall and finish up at casino.

Sorry for the late reply guys. But thanks so much for the vote of confidence. I'm going to check this place out one of these upcoming weekends.
