Where's the best place to park at Allamuchy? I want to visit the practice wall first. I noticed to gravel/ dirt pull-offs on the side of the road right near the practice wall. If it OK to park there as long as your well off the road? Is there a legitimate parking area? Pay for parking?

As far as I know That is the parking.  It will be more than a bit greasy in this humidity.. .Ymmv but imho, the better bet is the the power linez                There is a great piece of stone that is a -locals only special-  .  .  .  the cliffs along Diamond Hill road up hill from Rt22 (The Blue Star shopping center) at Seeely's Pond ( parking ) before you get to Rt78.  ( restricted/ possibly posted? ) Usually the trees give full cover this time of year. There is also a couple of okay things to climb a the Wiese Ecology Center I do not know the status or of any restrictions there, I've done some climbing off Sky-line drive. . .parking & access in-known.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
