Just had a climbing partner drop out, looking to fill out a 3-person team. Aiming for Emmons/Winthrop. Ideal partner would have glacier travel experience and be in adequate shape for a brisk ascent.

I have glacier experience on Shasta and Baker, and one skimo trip under my belt (Matterhorn Peak in the Sierra Nevada). I might be interested this trip. Can you give me an idea of your pace? I'm usually one of the faster ones in a group, often the fastest. I can gain 1600 ft/hr on a regular, non-steep hiking trail. My Mt. Whitney time car-to-car on the main trail, dry conditions, is 11 hours.

I clocked us at 1300-1400 ft/hr on Adams 2 weeks ago. Shoot me an email, huskidoc@gmail.com
