Hey everyone!

I just completed my undergrad in engineering and got a job as a contract engineer which has been an incredible experience! However, as I'm sure many of you know, training while living out of a suite case in hotel rooms has been really challenging. I have come to the conclusion that I will never be pushing my limits to the grade extent as I was in college, but I still want to be able to challenge myself and give myself more variety by staying in the 5.10-5.11 climbing range. What tips do you guys have for someone who has an irregular and travel schedule? Thanks everyone!

Rock Rings. You can hang them all over the place (gyms, parks, playgrounds, etc) and stay in shape.

If you are staying at hotels with gyms you can use rock rings/ g string/ or a variety of other devices to do repeaters or max "hangs" using a pulley system.  Also I would say that for most people maintaining a general fitness level and a body fat under 12% would likely result in being capable of climbing 11s.

Many hotels have a gym you could use for general strength training. You could also do push-ups, planks, and many other body weight exercises to maintain your core strength

That is guys, that's what I'm currently doing, I was just wondering if there were any other tips out there

In your hotel rooms look at the top of the doors. There might be a small edge for doing pull ups and dead hangs. Keep your fingers alive.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
