Slap Tear Rotator cuff tear

Hey all,

A few months ago a felt a pop in my left shoulder on the campus board, not much pain at the time, just a feeling of something not being right. I was able to continue climbing on and off, but decided  to go see a PT after the discomfort didn't resolve in 4-6 weeks.

Both my PT and PCP had said that they didn't think this was an injury that was headed for surgery.

Yesterday I had an MRI.  I have some physiology background (grad exercise phis, WFR, etc..) so I generally know just enough to misinterpret things.
 Findings were:
1. SLAP tear.
2. Severe infraspinatus tendinosis, moderately severe supraspinatus tendinosis.  No supraspinatus or infraspinatus tendon tear.
3. Subscapularis tendinosis with 7mm intrasubstance tear.
4. Subacromial impingement/rotator cuff impingement syndrome.

I realize this has been discussed a bit before, but I'm still curious to hear about other's experiences and suggestions with similar injuries.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
