Hey.

I post here too often. I'm looking for a partner to climb at looking glass for the time indicated in the title. I have offset nuts and tricams and a 60m rope.

I have led up to 5.8 on trad (yet to try harder) but I onsite sport at 10d, thus harder routes are still an option.

Message me if interested!

Hey Joe, just as an FYI.. not sure if you are familiar with the climbing here.   The only place on Looking Glass that's realistic to climb during the heat of the summer is the North Side.  Which has lots of hard climbs.   The southside and the Nose are going to be complete ovens, unless you manage to get up at 4am and get climbing literally at the crack of dawn, and then you are down by 9:00.

The Nose area is shaded until about noon. Plus there's more wind there to keep it cool. After that it gets a bit hot. It's nice to hit that area early and then the North Side in the afternoon once it's shady (it gets morning sun). Watch out for the snakes.

Check out Stone Depot. It is on north west side of Cedar Rock.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
