First the backstory... After dropping out of college, I started making skiing and climbing packs here in Bend, Oregon under the name Free Range Equipment and have been doing it for almost 6 years now (yikes!). For the last year, I've been working on a new line that showcases the work of different artists on the main panel of the pack, where a portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist. I just launched it a few days ago and am quite psyched about it.

Here's one by Rachel Pohl of the Tetons (yeah she's pretty much a stud):

Starting in a month or two, I'd like to feature an artist of the week and am looking for artist recommendations. If y'all have any good ideas, definitely let me know. They should generally be the down-to-earth, van-living, duct-tape-on-the-puffy, mountain-loving, classy-dirt-bag type. But those are just guidelines. Oh and here's a link to the Canvas Series for more stoke.
