So I am in school for physical therapy and am trying to set up internship sites. I am debating between going somewhere where I can be near ice climbing or trad climbing

I know Jtree is climbable in the winter. I was wondering if people could tell me places that are good for winter trad climbing (not bouldering).

I would like to know what is out there

Tucson has a quite a bit of trad climbing around with good temps in the winter

Most of the Southwest is in season in the winter for trad climbing.

If you're looking to be in a city of decent size with internship opportunities-

Las Vegas (Red Rock)

Tucson (Cochise)

Chattanooga (T-Wall)

Most other places are either rural if they're big destinations or if they're close to a big city, they're not necessarily destinations for the average climber.
