Does anyone have any additional beta (topos etc) for the bouldering at Taylor Canyon near Crested Butte? Are the approaches relatively short? I see the MP page here but there's not a ton of description. I'm doing some work next week June 7-11th, staying in Almont, and I'd love to hit some boulders in the evening. Any locals around and want to get together? I'd hit up Skyland, but my evening time is limited.

I'll have a couple of pads.

Will Anglin would be your best bet on information as he has developed a lot in the area. Not sure if he is on MP though... you might be able to get a hold of him through his company Tension Climbing

Thanks Chris. I knew he put up some problems around Skyland, but wasn't sure if he'd done much in Taylor Canyon.

I'm really just looking for some basics, i.e. If I only have a couple of hours to burn, is it worth the drive up from Almont? The campground spot looks like it's probably the most convenient. Looking for moderates up to about V6 -- no time for projects, and minimal approach.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
