I'm coming from Denver to climb in Squamish for two weeks. This will be my first trip there so I'm not certain about what grades I lead, but let's go with 5.8 to start. Have a double rack and rope.

If you haven't heard back from anyone to climb with. Contact or stop by the hive in north Vancouver or Squamish. There is a notice board for people looking. Good luck

General rule of thumb with Squamish is don't worry about arranging partners ahead of time. No need to scrounge on MP or visit gyms in Vancouver. Just head to Squamish. There will be plenty of people there. Hang around the picnic tables at the Chief campground (will be obvious when you get there), and you'll find a partner within an hour, guaranteed.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
