Heard there was 42" up there, but that was last month.
I was up there last weekend. Most everything is drying out now. Routes that get all day shade may still have some snow.
Last weekend I was up Lower La Cueva in the Gemstone Areas - no snow there and water seepage seemed a non-issue.
But it has been about a month since I've been in the upper Sandias - Rika's report seems about right. :-)
Planning to be up high on Sunday.
We were on the north and west sides of Sentinel today. Saw inconsequential patches of snow here and there. Hard to imagine there being much more anywhere else in the Sandias. :-)
