I currently have DMM walnuts (full set), DMM offsets (7-11) ,DMM peanuts (1-5), and the regular BD stopper set (3-13?).  Would spending money on the BD micro stoppers be a complete waste?

Unless you're really passionate about leading really thin, difficult-to-protect cracks, or looking to get into aid, then I'd say your current setup is plenty. Happy climbing!

If you already have lots of gear, wait until you find you really NEED additional gear to buy more, especially some thing very specialized like micro nuts.  You have plenty of small stoppers already with what you have.  Unless you are constantly running out of them on climbs or find they aren't working for lots of small nut placements you are encountering, you don't need more.  This advice is coming from a total gear whore, so I know the struggle.  :)
