Two east coast climbers on long haul cycle tour, brought our shoes and no other gear. Would love advice, partners, etc for midweek climbing in the headlands 5/16-18. We know this isn't "the best" place to go, but we need some variation and this is what fits our schedule.

lots of boulders just off the road on the way out to Mt. Tam, but most will require a pad.  I'd go to Mickey's, Stinson or Black Beach because you won't necessarily need a pad.  Also could get a session in at Ring Mountain

If going to Mickey's/Stinson, just be aware of any road closures:

Currently CA1 is closed between Muir Beach and Stinson Beach (and other sections too). It's possible they would like bikers through but not sure.

I would suggest going to Ring Mountain (Turtle Rock).  The tallest problem is maybe 15-18' and a V0, no pad needed really.  All the other problems (approx 20) don't require a pad, they are all under 10' and don't put you in any risky positions with predominately flat landing zones.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
