The Descriptions says Shortoff mountain climbing routes between paradigm shift to C.O. are closed for seasonal rapture, does that mean the entire Shortoff Mountain is closed until August?

No - the entire mountain is not closed. The closed routes are the far right side of the mountain. If you have the Selected Climbs in NC book there's a picture showing the area (looks like a couple hundred feet to the right of the climb Bonsai). Most of the classic climbs on Shortoff (Construction Job and then everything cliff left of that climb) are open for climbing. Get after it bro.

Thank you Drew!

We should have the new kiosk up by next raptor closure season and the improved signage that will go along with that will hopefully make this clearer as well. The CCC is working with the Forest Service to come up with clearer closure notices (photos with overlays of the closed sections) as well.

If y'all can answer this as well, for the North Carolina Wall closure it says from Bumblebee Buttress to Tightrope, I can't find the route Tightrope on Mountain project or in the Guidebook? which direction is Tightrope from Bumblebee Buttress?

Climbers left. It's a couple routes right of the mossy monster buttress. The Corner and everything to the right of Bumblee is open. Thanks for asking!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
