I just read the article linked on Mountain Project's homepage: "40 Climbing Lessons", which was written by Mark Anderson. It is one of those rare things I read on the Internet that really struck a chord with me. It is more than just an article on training, it seems to be a list of lessons covering a little bit of everything in climbing that Mark has learned over the years. I've learned some of the same lessons myself, especially the last one: there's more to life than rock climbing. I became a father a little more than 3 years ago, and that really opened my eyes to a life outside of climbing.
Since the MP community is such a diverse group of people, I don't think we will all agree with the 40 lessons. But I still think it's a good read for everyone, whether you agree with Mark or not. Here's the link to the article again.
