Crews are west of McSwain Summit (about 16 miles from Crane Flat, about halfway between White Wolf and Yosemite Creek/Ten Lakes trailhead) and progressing about a half-mile per day in snow that is 10-12 feet deep.

Advance avalanche crews are working at Olmsted Point (one of the major avalanche zones along the road).

(Keep those skis / snowshoes handy; you will need them in August!)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
