I just moved to California 3 weeks ago and I am desperately looking for a climbing partner. I climb 5.8 trad and 5.11 sport.

Kevin....  welcome to California.

You might wish to visit Stoney Point.

The after work sessions, on Tuesday and Thursday, is a good way to get to know the locals.

I've been to Stoney Point a few times now actually, it's a pretty cool place.

Dude, LA county is huge! (thanks to the traffic)...I frequent tahquitz in the summer. More local climbing in the northern side of LA, not much on the southern side, but we got nice surf spots!

Hi Kevin!

Canyon Country you say? I'll be in the SCV area during the first week of June if you'd like to go climbing. I'm down for trad or sport, and maybe even bouldering if the mood strikes.

Thanks!
