Removing a cobra is just like a 5-piece. Loosen the bolt, give it a tap with the hammer, remove the bolt, fish out the sleeve, remove the cone with the bolt and a pair of pliers. I found if you don't disengage the cone before completely removing the bolt, the sleeve is almost impossible to remove. Pushing the cone from the sleeve allows for very easy sleeve removal with a hook tool.
It's even easier. Unthread the shaft, Tap out the cone from the sleeve. Grab the sleeve with plyers then get the cone by re-threading the shaft. honestly once you loosen it, It should just slide out.
I have bolted a lot of limestone with 1/2 cobra bolts.
The really issue is the 3/8s are too weak for climbing IMO. The 1/2 give much more appropriate values.
If your powerdrilling just go 1/2. Don't have a drill buy my old one.
