Thank you for your contribution to this beautiful area. I mean who doesn't like to unknowingly step in dog shit only to realize a few minutes lately that it is smeared everywhere.

Awesome......thanks!

At least it wasn't  a rattlesnake.  Best to keep an eye on where you step.

what makes you so sure it was dog waste?

It was a mad house up there on sunday. I was doing a circuit with the wife and walked around to go do the rib and there had to been at least 15 people standing under that thing. Maybe one of them pooped at the carnival boulders.........

Dog poop is soo much better than human. I had a friend's canine dig into a big pile of human waste right next to a boulder problem.....and then run around trying to lick ppl......

Size was hard to tell as I had smashed it into a pancake before I could properly measure it. Consistency was smooth yet mealy. There was no visible corn but it was a bit on the yellowish side.

The real problem is that you were bouldering.

Speaking as someone who lives in Leavenworth.

LEAVE YOUR DOGS AT HOME.

Dogs do not boulder, they run around the forest pooing and chasing animals.

Dogs do not trad climb, they just sit in the sun all day tied to a tree barking.

Dogs do not sport climb, they beg from other climbers for food, and walk across their ropes.

Bring some pepper spray with you... dog won't leave you alone and owner doesn't take care of it, give it a little spray.

edit: bring a backup pepper spray for the enraged inconsiderate climber to follow
