I am well aware of the AAC campground and I am a member so I understand its a pretty cheap option, but I am curious if anyone has any beta on primitive camping near the New. I will be down there bouldering last week of April, First week of May.

Not looking for much, just a place to park my car and not be towed and perhaps a spot to throw a tent down.

Check out the list of campgrounds on the NRG home page and search the forums. This has been discussed at length multiple times.
