Re-slinging hexes with sewn thin dyneema like used on the DMM Torque Nuts

At some point in the future I will need to re-sling my Wild Country Rockcentrics. And it occurred to me that it would be very cool if I could get it done in the same fashion and same material as DMM uses on their Torque Nuts so that they can extend. The four re-sling businesses that I'm aware of, Mountain Tools, Caccia Equipment llc., Yates, and Runout Customs all use either 1/2 inch dyneema, or 12mm Ultratape for these applications. This is a good deal larger than what I measured of about 8mm width dyneema on the Torque Nuts. Is this a supply problem for this material for these companies?

I recognize it would be cheaper to re-sling them myself with tech cord. But if this could be done it would seem to be worth the cost.
