Epilepsy & Climbing = Good or Bad?

I have been epileptic since 12(not caused by climbing).

I tend to have a seizure roughly once a year.

I know I am a rare breed but I love climbing, is there anything I could do to fix the stigma about epilepsy & sports besides curing epilepsy.

Seems obvious, but at least when you're belaying, using a GriGri or other auto locking device will reduce the risk should you seize while belaying.

For what its worth, I have a good friend who was an epileptic, and he credits CBD oil for being seizure free for the last 7 years.  I can't say his evidence meets what I consider scientific or medical proof, but I trust him in many other ways.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
