Hey I'm new to the area as of yesterday (in Port Angeles specifically). I'm from the east coast and know like 1 person in the entire state of Washington and they don't exactly climb. Climbing solo through the olympics sounds great and all but it can get a bit lonely out there and I'd rather not die from a minor injury.
My climbing history reads: climbed sport/trad at the new river gorge for years, have done mt Washington and then the presidential traverse in NH in the winter, done Rainier unguided (but via DC route), skimoed part of baker and the full Hood in spring. I don't know why I mentioned guides. None of these were guided. Anyway I'd like to get to know the climbing community around here.

Thanks,
Dylan

Also planning another rainier trip up emmons and then glacier Peak in may with a friend flying out but we aren't opposed to a knowledgeable 3rd.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
