Wanted to share this and start a conversation on what other folks carry in their bolt bag.

A typical bolting kit for around Bangalore. This one weighs about eight kgs odd, plus I carry a separate pack with a small trad rack, 60 meters rope, etc. A total of 15 kgs odd.

This one being put together for a 350-foot line.

- Bosch 18V drill with two battery packs
- 20 M10 Gipfel bolts and hanger. (304 steel)
- Three M10 Fixe bolts for anchor stations. These have longer length than the Gipfel bolts.
- Eight Gipfel maillons
- Hammer, 17 mm closed spanner and open spanner, blow pipe, drill hole brush from Deccan climbing
- Chalk pieces to mark the route
- Chalk bag to carry hardware
- A 20 liter pack to carry it all
- Small organising pouches for bolts and hangers.

My bolting kit

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
