Hey,

Currently baking at Cochise, considering headed up to Boulder to enjoy the cooler temps. I noticed most of the campgrounds don't open until May, where can I camp and how is the rock right now? The weather looks nice, but I'm curious if things are wet from snow melt ?

Both eldo and boulder canyon are mostly snow free, camping always a problem nothing available close to the climbing

There's a sticky thread about camping near Boulder:

In short: you're not going to find anything in town or at Eldo. There are a few places close-ish, but you'll be doing a fair bit of driving every day if your intent is to climb in Boulder Canyon or Eldo.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
