Alps in July

I've got about 3 weeks off in July, and am putting it out there if anyone needs a alpine partner for climbing in the Alps...Chamonix, wherever!

When I was there by myself in August I prepaid a guide for a week of climbing. It was cool, but I quickly met a lot of people willing to partner up while there. Check out the climber bars, don't be a d-bag, and talk to everybody willing to let you into their conversation (they seem to be much for down for that than Americans). Also learn the French climbing grades; if you tell people that you climb 5.10 they'll think you are talking about your shoes.

Also, you may want to check out the Camptocamp and UKClimbing forums

Hi Dick, I live in Geneva and I would be happy to meet up and climb. Cheers, Callum

Check the partners notebook at the Office of Haute Montagne or write me up, I live here and am always up for climbing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
