I know its not the exact same thing but... its kinda the exact same thing minus the rope damage.

I'd like to clarify the inaccurate comment above, this rope is a Beal Goldendry which holds the UIAA certification as a dry rope.

The link this individual provided above IS NOT exactly the same rope as inaccurately stated. That link takes you to a Mammut Revelation 9.2 PROTECT which does not meet UIAA certification as a dry rope. The equivalent to the BEAL Joker 9.1 Goldendry would be the Mammut Revelation 9.2 DRY. See link below, Mammut does a good job of explaining the differences in their treatments under the know-how tab.

The Beal also has the unicore technology which is a whole other topic of discussion.

Regardless your asking 200+ for a compromised rope

ya my point was as a responsible climber you should have cut the rope where the damage is then sold it as a 60m or 65m. People can buy a 100% new rope same length and diameter for much less than you are asking and not have to worry about the rope breaking.

PS in my experience the dry coating comes off quickly after a few rappels anyway.

Chris, one may argue that those are not the same rope as they are Dry Cover and not Golden Dry. But you can get the Golden Dry for about the same prices too. Heck, you can even get the 80M for $209
