Hello everyone,

I am looking for a list of routes that are solo top rope-able on/in the Mt Lemmon area. I've looked through the list on MP but a lot of "TR"s have descriptions of sport routes.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you,

I believe there are many, many routes that are solo top rope-able on Lemmon.

I think it will depend on what you are interested in climbing.

I think it will also depend on weather, i.e. sun/shade.

Many of the routes on Chimney Rock are solo top rope-able.

Many of the routes at Windy Point are solo top rope-able. Take for example, the routes in the gully on both sides of North Fin, or Mean Mistreater Wall or Hawk Rock.

You need to exercise care in getting to the anchors. You may need some gear to set up a secondary anchor to safely get to the primary anchors.

If you include routes, that are well within your ability to safely lead solo, then this opens up even more possibilities. You lead something easy and then move from anchor to anchor.

Have Fun!
