Poke o slab in winter

It's recommended in the book as a spot to go when it's cold but there's also a ton of snow that will be melting this week.

Is catharsis likely to be wet if it's in the mid 40s and sunny? Should I be worried about falling ice?

I'd like to climb the route with snow on the ground but not if it's going to be a teflon coated uphill ice rink.

Thanks in advance.

Edit to add 50 and sunny but freezing overnight. Could be epic corn at whiteface but I'm hoping to do this route with snow on the ground.

I would expect it to be wet and subject to falling things. But that's just based on typical springtime hazards, not based on any firsthand experience on that route.

Hoping for some firsthand knowledge. I know people were at main wall last weekend and that thing sheds and has worse exposure...

Had a friend put eyes on it and It was wet. Doesn't seem like an early spring spot. Oh well. When it dries I'm looking forward to that south sun.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
