The Mountaineers present a rare Seattle appearance by Simon McCartney, acclaimed author and mountaineer, as he shares stories from his recently released book, The Bond: Survival on Denali and Mount Huntington. It's the story of bold first ascents, inspirational personal sacrifice, near tragedy, and an indelible bond that ties four men together. The Bond is the recipient of the prestigious 2016 Banff Book and Boardman Tasker Awards for mountain literature.
