Just wondering if any of you have first hand experience with this jacket? I'm trying to decide between it and the quasar lite. Thanks for the help!

I have one. It's relatively light and has yet to let water through after a couple years. Very well made. My only gripe is that because it's so breathable, it's a lousy windshell. It's perfect for high output activities like hiking or skinning but if you're sitting at a cold belay, I'd prefer something windproof.

Thanks for the reply Don, how does it fit sizing wise? True to fit? And is there room in the hood for a helmet?

I'm 5'10" 165 and am happy with the medium. It fits snug but is not restrictive. I layer with a thick base and very warm (thick) rab hoody. It's tightest in the shoulders. I could see someone with very wide shoulders being unhappy with that. The hood fits a helmet great.
