La sportiva Genius Sizing

Hey all,
I recently got a pair of Geniuses in a size 40, but they seem to not be breaking in as much as I wanted to. I'm wondering how much they have stretched for anyone that has them?
For reference im a street size 9-9.5 with wide ish feet, and I wear a 39.5 in futuras

A friend of mine has been climbing in size 40.5 just becouse 40 was out of stock when he bought them. They've broken in about two weeks and now can be combined with sock for that extra special retro look. He wears size 40 in all other sportiva shoes: Solution, Miura Lace. He's size 43 in street shoes.
