Hey Bishop Boulderers,
Just looking for some guidebook beta. Is the Bishop Bouldering Select book any good/worth the money? I've found a lot of select guides to be kind of sparse in problems... As for the original Bishop Bouldering guide - anyone know what the current rental cost is from any of the guide shops? Last year seemed to be a huge chunk of cash, credit card on file, and a promise of my first born child...
TIA! Also, if there is already a thread on this please let me know and I will delete this one.

I just oredered the newer one and it should be here this week. I haven't climbed in Bishop yet but will let you know what I can tell. It was about 30 so not too bad a gamble.
Im curious to see what others say about the books.

The select guide is fine. After poking around unsuccessfully for the older guide (the last edition I bought was the old Mick Ryan guide), I gave up and bought the select. Perfectly respectable.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
