What's the best carabiner for the Squid Stick Clip?

It seems that the squid doesn't work well with many carabiners. I love the functionality of the stick clip but I cannot find a carabiner that works well with it.

Has anyone found the prime carabiner for the squid?

All of my draws have the BD positron straight gate carabiners on them. I have used the squid for months and I have never had an issue. One of my climber partners has BD hotwires and the squid has worked great for those as well.

Most Squids I've used are half broken. I know it would be wasted money, but the Superclip is a lot easier to use, and it doesn't break when it's dropped. Maybe it's worth buying one?

Petal spirits work well for me, Adam.

Yates Super Clip is a superior product in every way. I'd spring the cash and switch, rather than buy new biners.

Durability, ease of use, price - all better in the Super Clip.

This. Throw the squid away, and buy the superclip.

Just throw away the stick clip and buy cams.

The large version of the petzl ange is by far the best if tried.
