'Alone on the Wall' audio book quality

I finally got around to 'Alone on the Wall'. Chronically busy and driving too much, I chose the audio book. What's up with the actor reading it? Couldn't he or someone have made sure he knew how to pronounce the climbing terms and route names? He gets so much wrong, it's kinda pathetic.

I listed to it too. Laughed every time he said micro traxion.

I listen to a lot of books and its pretty common for the actors to mispronounce climbing terms. They usually read many different books a year, and I doubt many people in the audio book industry are aware of the climbing lingo.

Imagine trying to pick up an advanced chemistry textbook and being told to just read it aloud. He pronounced everything the way it looks. It's only a minor annoyance, pretty easy to get over.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
