Do pull ups translate well to lock off strength. Easy question.

Yes, but not so much that pull ups should be a major focus of a climbing training plan at the expense of more specific exercise or practice. And if you can already do a bunch of pull ups, then you probably want to think about adding weight and doing higher intensity but lower rep schemes as opposed to just cranking out as many as you can.

You might also consider lock off ladders or 1 arm inverted rows if you're looking for supplemental exercises targeting lock offs.
