Hey ya'll. It's been a while since I've written anything new, but I just finished a new piece. It's non-fiction this time. I am posted here as it seems relevant to many of us who spend a lot of time outdoors and for many of us, that means in tick infested areas! I developed red meat (alpha-gal) allergies after spending a couple years down south, and it has become more common. Here's links to what wrote.

I would also recommend checking out this Radiolab short from a few months ago. It's funny and very informational.

Anyway, just wanted folks to be aware of other tick related conditions.

Wow, this is weird. Good to know. Is it mostly on the east coast?
